Apple announced yesterday that they are bringing out a new second generation version of the ever so popular iPod Nano. The new iPod Nano's case is made out of the same material as it's successor, the iPod Mini had, iodized aluminum. In addition to that, they have brought out a new 8 gigabyte model and lowered the prices on the others. Meaning that the 4 gig iPod Nano 2nd Gen. will cost as much as the original iPod Nano 2 gig. Also Steve Jobs claims that the battery life of the iPod Nano 2G is double that of the original iPod Nano, making the battery life 24 hours of continuous play. Also it is suppose to be just a tiny bit thinner than the 1G iPod Nano. Thinner? Yes, thats what I've heard. I'm not sure how they could make a player any thinner than the 1G iPod Nano. I'm going to try to see if that is really true.
I also noticed while surfing, that because Apple has lowered the price of the 30 gigabyte iPod to $249.99, that it is the exact same price as the iPod Nano 8 Gig, making it seem much more worth it to buy the iPod 30 gig, if you are planning on buying the 8 gig Nano.
